Pop the top and a widget affixed to the bottom of the can releases a burst of nitrogen. Pour into a glass, sit back, and watch as a mesmerizing cascade of tiny bubbles forms a creamy head of foam. The nose delivers volumes of rich cocoa powder along with plenty of refreshing mint. The mint and chocolate are beautifully integrated here, resulting in a deliciously creamy stout that’s pillowy soft across the palate. The finish is rich, but not cloying, and its substantial 10% ABV remains deceptively well hidden. One of Southern Tier’s finest stouts.
